Blended learning options and additional TEC funding available to support digital learning!

We hope you and your bubble have remained safe and well, as we move forward into Level 2. During Lock-down 3 and 4 we have delivered blended learning solutions for our clients and we will continue to offer a range of customised learning options during Lock-down 2. The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) has acknowledged the growing interest in online training and have recently announced an additional fund for devices and internet connections for New Zealand businesses.

The Technology Access Fund is available in conjunction with the Workplace Literacy Fund, and will enable your staff to be up-skilled in digital literacy assisting with:

  • Suitable devices which enable learners to access technology-enabled learning;
  • Adequate internet connections to participate in technology-enabled learning;
  • Additional operating systems and/or programmes which are essential for the learner to be able to participate in technology-enabled learning; and/or
  • Appropriate technical support to help learners access technology-enabled learning.
