Ensuring the health and wellness of our staff, tutors and clients.
What steps we are taking to ensure the health and wellness of our staff, tutors and customers?
We are managing and monitoring ‘coronavirus’ daily. Our team can work from home in the event we have to leave the office, so we will always be available. Our staff, including tutors, are required to fill out a ‘Declaration of Health’ form weekly to ensure they and our clients are safe and constantly monitoring their health.
We are restricting travel on domestic flights of our team and using technology such as SKYPE to communicate with our clients as an alternative.
We are working with our clients to be as flexible and agile as we can, given the current conditions.
Adapted training delivery
In this current COVID-19 situation good communication is vital! We can help employers reinforce the seriousness of the situation and help mitigate risk.
For example, we can include in our government funded Workplace Communication training, topics such as:
Reading – read and understand the processes to follow the Ministry of Health Guidelines; understand the consequences;
Writing – filling in the required documentation such as weekly or daily health status, health & safety forms;
Verbal – having the confidence to tell management they are unwell, or raise concerns;
Leadership – having the skills to problem solve, and time-management. Being approachable, dealing with a difficult customer situation.
